In an effort to make sure I never feel “busy,” I’m implementing a few things in my life to help my business run more smoothly. A social media scheduler is one thing I’m using more often these days.
There are 3 strategies that you may or may not be familiar with, in order to feel less busy while still getting everything done:
- Scheduling – Scheduling helps to make sure the important things get done, so your days aren’t filled with things that merely feel urgent.
- Delegating – This is where you take tasks off your plate and hire someone else to do them for you.
- Just saying no – Saying no is taking care of the essentials and saying no to opportunities that don’t align with your values or where you are at the moment.
One place where I spend a lot of time is social media scheduling. It’s really inefficient to go to each social media platform to post at optimal times. Scheduling is definitely the way to go. Creating unique content for each platform, multiple times a day is super time-consuming, though. And you can end up spending all of your work time creating graphics to go with your posts/links.
There are a ton of social media scheduling tools out there that. And I’ve checked out many of them. Some, like CoSchedule, are difficult to figure out and make regular use of. While others, like Buffer, just don’t have enough of what I need to easily schedule my social media posts.
ViralTag is an image-focused social media scheduler that allows you to share images from a wide variety of places to your favorite social media accounts, such as Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
The image-focused part is what makes ViralTag the best social media scheduling tool I’ve used. I love how I can bulk upload images and create posts in bulk within minutes. I don’t like how many other tools make you upload images one at a time. I’ve found that I only get engagement and views when I include images in my Twitter and Facebook posts. And this is obviously necessary for posts on Pinterest and Instagram (where you have to post images).
Another thing I really like about ViralTag is that I can “recycle” posts! This is huge! I can keep posting on a set schedule or add posts to the “evergreen” tab. The “evergreen” tab includes posts which will go out when I don’t have others on my calendar to be posted. This ensures that I always have content going out on my social channels. Sometimes, my personal schedule gets off track and I don’t have time to add new content to my ViralTag scheduling queue. This is where all that “evergreen” content really comes in handy!
You can create your own posting schedule to fit with your specific audience (and personal preferences). If you don’t have posts scheduled during the times you select, “evergreen” posts will fill in!
One way that I’ve been making good use of ViralTag is with pics I post on Instagram. I connected my Instagram account and uploaded the images and text to ViralTag. I then shortened the text a bit to fit better on Facebook and had tons of fresh content in minutes!
ViralTag has a free 14-day trial you should check out to see for yourself how great the social media scheduling tool is!
