I often hear how the highlight for most people who attend conferences, live events and workshops is connecting with like-minded people. The business lessons and tangible knowledge are actually second (and third) to meeting more people. Interesting. As an entrepreneur who loves being home (I’m a cancer after all), I mostly connect with people online. As I would like to be able to expand my network and make connections further afield, leaving the house and meeting people in person seems like a worthy goal.
From July 15th to the 20th of 2014, I joined 4 other future retreat leaders and 2 coaches who have experience running their own retreats, in Whistler, Canada. This is a bit about what I learned from my time away.

Masterminding with some lovely ladies for a few days helped me work out the direction I want to take my business, and gave me confidence to focus on what drives me and makes me feel alive.
